We are conscious of the need to work closely with Clients, to involve them in the decision making process. We do not consider that engineering design finishes when drawings and calculations are issued, we believe that discussion of the reasons behind design, together with on-site liaison, are necessary to provide a full design service. Our aim is to establish a sound working relationship with all Clients, and to obtain their confidence and trust through consistent performance. The keystone of our success has been the dedication of our staff and the continued loyalty of our Clients.

We frequently undertake desktop studies or intrusive site investigations for Clients to consider the feasibility of a site for development. It is here that a clear appreciation of the many engineering problems that may exist is vital. The superstructure design, ground conditions, contamination issues, drainage constraints and site boundary conditions often have conflicting requirements. Optimum solutions for all these problems are therefore essential. There is always the need to focus on important detail whilst keeping an overview of the engineering requirements it is here that we feel our diverse experience can be exploited.

On completion of the feasibility and commencement of the detailed design, we still strive to refine the detailed construction option to produce economic and practical solutions.

We provide our Clients with detailed risk assessments to cover each stage of civil or structural construction. Our construction risk database is regularly updated to conform to the latest developments both in construction techniques and with emerging legislation.
